People who watch a lot
of violent television programs will find that this influences their behavior
when they are angry or upset
It
is certainly true that in the modern age, popular media such as television has
a tremendous effect on the society. The impacts of the violent television
programs on the people is relatively understandable. I strongly agree that what
one watch directly influences their way of behave.
There
is no doubt that when the people watch any action movie or serial, they
concentrate on that completely. The impression of such scenes are very strong
that even after finishing the program, one might remember every detail of what
he/she have watched. This phenomenon directly affect the human mind. When
things go wrong, people associate their uncertainty with recent television
series they might have watched. Unfortunately, many modern homes are faced
situations where bad behavior become reason of quarrel.
To
exemplify the above, every age group faces the immense difficulties due to
violent action programs. In adults, differences between husband and wife
relationships, disrespect towards children has one common cause, and that is
horrible action scenes and its worse effect on domestic relationships
However,
it is generally accepted that the television is a main source of information
regarding current news, science and Knowledge. Nevertheless, the dreadful
impact on the people's behavior is a fact, which no one deny.
In
conclusion, it is clear from above contention that violent television programs
effect all age groups. According to my perspective, one should minimize the
amount of time he/she watches such horrible programs. it will assist them to
eradicate the bad influence on their behavior.
Some workplaces
do not ensure the safety of workers who use dangerous equipment. What can be
done?
Some people say
that smoking should be permitted in places where people gather to eat drink.
Others find the smell of cigarette smoke offensive and want smoking banned in
public.
What are the
features of an ideal television show for children below age?
How can society
reduce the problems that people with disabilities suffer.
Smoking
is a bad habit. Do you agree or disagree?
smoking is a dangerous bad habit.it
contains nicotine.it causes different diseases and damages our brain and
lungs.most of the people are addicted it by someone ,specially our teenagers
are affect by their friends.every year the number of people are death for this
reason and sometimes they are avoided their family, which really shock-able.
smoking has a lot of disadvantage .it
causes different diseases such as cancer of different part of the body and
brain stoke which makes para lashed our body.first of fall someone addicted by
others and after some days they become chain smoker which really
unthinkable.our young generation are involved day by day but they do not know
about the effect of smoking.they couldn't understand how many diseases and
naturally they fall in death.
from the religious point of view it is
prohibited .it is clearly shown our holy Quran ,if someone waste their valuable
body parts with out excuse than they will be destroy in future.
it harmful not only smoker but also non smoker,
if someone smoke infornt of their family member than each member get nicotine
by smoke.that harms both side
on the other hand it has no advantage
but some one think that it gives relaxation and our young stars think that it
becomes smart .
So i think that smoking is a really harmful to
mankind and it waste our valuable life and valuable many thing like property
and so many on.so everyone should conscious about the bad effect of smoking and
our government should try to increase awareness .
lastly i would like to say if we want to get
good health and wealth than we should avoid it
In the last century, the
first man to walk on the moon said it was "a giant leap for mankind”.
However, some people think it has made little difference to our daily lives.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
For this question, I would write that "I
partly agree" or that "I agree to some extent". Then I would
write one main paragraph about each side of the argument:
1. Introduction: I partly agree. Make
it clear that you have a balanced opinion.
2. One side: In practical terms,
sending a man to the moon has not changed most people's lives. We have not
benefited in terms of our standard of living, health etc. In fact, governments
have wasted a lot of money that could have been spent on public services.
3. Other side: On the other hand,
putting a man on the moon was a huge achievement that still inspires and
interests people today. It showed us that we can achieve anything we put our
minds to.
4. Conclusion: The fact that man has
walked on the moon might not have had a direct effect on our daily lives, but
it was an inspiring achievement.
Some vegetarians say it selfish and unnecessary for people to
eat meat in a world where food resources are becoming increasingly scarce.
According to some vegetarian groups, eating animal meat is
cruel, selfish and unnecessary especially in the world where food resources are
limited. I strongly disagreed with the argument due to the following reasons.
First of all, although there are
studies and research regarding the benefits of consuming vegetarian diets,
there is also evident that human benefit more by consuming animal meat than
eating vegetarian foods. For instance, one serve of steak contains three times
more iron and protein than a serve of potato bake. Thus, having meat in one’s
diet is an act of self caring rather than self indulging.
Secondly, the natural disasters, like
flood and drought are affecting the food supply in the whole world. Therefore,
the increasing scarcity of food resources affects not only the supply of meats
but also fruits and vegetables. If eating meat is a selfish act, consuming
fruits and vegetables should also be seen as an unfavorable action.
Thirdly, some vegetarians claim that
eating meat is an act of cruelty because it involves the act of killing living
animals. However, they forget that fruits and vegetables are also living
things.
Lastly, the scarcity of food supply has nothing
to do with meat eating. It is mainly due to people's greed and their food
wastage. People often purchase and store more food than they can consume. This
worsening situation is the culprit of the inadequate food supply.
To conclude, I believe that eating
meat should not be considered as a selfish or cruel act. It is only a matter of
eating style and preferences. You would agree that we need a balance diet with
both meat and vegetables. Nevertheless, individuals must also be responsible
for their own choice and do not waste any food resources. So there will always
be enough food for all the people in the world.
Smoking in public places should be
banned, what is your viewpoint, do you agree or disagree.
Ban on smoking
in places is not only justified but also imperative. Many countries are
realizing the dangers of passive smoking and are coming up with measures to
curb the problems popping up with the passive smoking.
Medical science
has fully supported the dangers of potential passive smoking. To illustrate my
point I will like to cite the fact that most of the people die due to cigarette
smoking which contains nicotine. Inveterate smokers pack up themselves with
lung and oral cancer rather than from natural causes. Government is squandering
astronomical sums for the treatment of pulmonary cancers and educating
the populace from the dangers of smoking .The imposition of high taxes on
nicotine based products has already been done to restrain this habit.
The debatable
point is that to what extent these steps have been succeeded to dissuade the
smokers. Cigarette smoking not only pollutes the air but also make non-smokers
inhale the stale smoke imperiling their health too. Ingrained smokers are not
destroying their own health but also of others. The main critical issue in this
respect is that is anyone (child or adult) safe from passive smoking. The doom
of asthmatics, pregnant women can we well imagined too.
Some smokers
argue that banning smoking in public places is direct impingement of their
human rights but this line is futile because right to smoking is not absolute,
but right to life is. Many persons unintentionally take up smoking by watching
others; thereby unleash the smoke in public places. This is what they call
fashion.
Thus it is
imperative to impose appropriate laws as it will not only prevent non-smokers
from falling victim to the dangers of passive smoking, but also directly
benefit the diehard smokers who would then have no choice but to curtail their
smoking habit.
